It is but a memory now, but it was great to come “Home for the Holidays”!
Held in the Library of the Market Square at the Merchandise Mart, the annual ASID/IIDA Holiday Party was all about the classics and comfort. Over 200 members and guests enjoyed an evening of savory food and drink, old movies and shopping on the side at the silent auction to benefit IIDC.
With holiday movies playing on the TV and delicious comfort food provided by The Hearty boys it was almost like being at home. The Hearty Boys, Dan Smith and Steve McDonagh, were even on hand to sign copies of their cookbook.
This year, we were able to raise about $4,000 for the IIDC. Thank you to all of our silent auction donors and those who participated in the 50/50 raffle!
A very special thanks to the Merchandise Mart for hosting and sponsoring the event, decorating the space and opening the Dream Home for tours.
