Campus Centers are IIDA's version of student chapters. In February of 1997 the IIDA Board of Directors moved to encourage schools and campuses to establish Campus Centers. Being a member of a Campus Center can help cultivate your leadership skills, offer valuable networking opportunities in conjunction with your local Chapter, and gain recognition by your department for putting together informative programs.
IIDA Headquarters and Chapters all have individuals who can help you in specific areas, like communication, education, legislation, membership, etc. The IIDA College of Fellows is also an esteemed group of designers who have been recognized for their contribution to the profession and the Association, thus, they are a valuable source for speakers, mentors, and inspiration. To be put in contact with a Fellow from your area, please contact IIDA Headquarters.
